Mission & Vision
“People who say it can’t be done, should not interrupt those who are doing it.”
Nebraska’s new dawn. Preserve. Defend. Protect.
When do we finally say, “Enough is enough”? At what point will we stand up and fight for what is right again? Nebraska Farmers Network was born because we got sick and tired of just talking about the problems of the ag industry today and made the decision to take action. Like the fact, that a whole generation of Nebraska farmers and ranchers have a median age of 56.9 years old, and the average age of a Nebraska landowner is 67 years old. Who’s going to be there as a resource for Nebraska producers, when there will be millions of acres of farmland and ranchland exchanging hands in the next decade?
25+ years ago, who was a farmers competition? Another farmer! Today, a Nebraska farmer and rancher has to daily compete with non-farmers around the USA that are eyeing any land opportunity in the state that they can get their grubby hands on. The big problem with that is, they don’t see our land for the production value that is in the dirt, all these out-of-state investors just see the land as an investment, often over paying for it, then charging the highest cash rent possible. Overtime, what do you think will happen to our Nebraska land market if no one takes ACTION?
Formed in December of 2023 and beginning operations in April of 2024, NFN, continues to gain traction across our state with like-minded Nebraska residents who want to join our mission.
